Biography: Amanda Mahoney, Canadian Equine first aid leader, Certified Equine Hoof Care Practitioner, graduate of Occupational Health and Safety. 

“I was born and raised in the beautiful BC, interior area and competed locally in a variety of equestrian disciplines. Moving to stunning Alberta to further my equine education, becoming a board member of the Canadian Horse Association, Equine Practitioners and partnering with Formahoof.

Previously the general manager of an equine rehabilitation facility and built two, million-dollar 5-star equine stables.

I am always further educating myself with pathology and biomechanics clinics, my interests and specialties include but are not limited to, lameness, diagnostic, lower limb anatomy, hoof care, and the safety of the horse.

I am a committed safety leader and hoof care specialist, achieving my diploma in Podiatry from the Institute of Applied Equine Podiatry.
